However, underrepresentation remains in various STEM fields, including entomology and the plant sciences. Within our lab, we aim to cultivate a community that has diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. As a lab, we work to understand the challenges faced by members of underrepresented groups and to dissolve barriers that impede the ability to support diverse members of our scientific community.
